Zytokine
Zytikine sind Gewebshormone, die als Botenstoffe fungieren und für die Kommunikation zwischen Zellen verantwortlich sind. Sie wirken in der unmittelbaren Umgebung ihrer Bildungsstelle. Eine Untergruppe davon sind die Interleukine oder der Tumornekrosefaktor-alpha (TNFa). Unterschieden werden entzündungsfördernde und entzündungshemmende Zytokine.
